Every year, all players that will be playing competitive soccer are required to have a player card that assigns them to their team for the year. The Ohio Soccer Association uses GotSport for carding for every club and league across the state. All Warrior SC players are uploaded into GotSport and assigned teams, but parents are required to sign specific documents every year, and upload a photo and copy of the player birth certificate once. Once their proof of birth is verified in GotSport, this step does not need completed every year.

Below are step by step instructions on how to complete the full process:

• Your log in email will be the same email address you used to register your player for the club. You will need to go to www.gotsport.com and log in with that email. If this is your first time logging in, you will need to click on "forgot password" and set your password for the first time.
• Once logged in, you should see your profile, or the "parent page." You will click on the "FAMILY" tab and select the child you are wanting to complete forms or upload documents for.

• Once you choose the child you are needing to upload or complete items for, it should take you to that players page. On this first page, you are able to upload a photo for the player which is required for their player card.
  • Important note for player photos: Please make sure the photo is of their head and face only, with no sunglasses, hats, masks, etc. covering their face. Prescription glasses are ok. Think in terms of something similar to a drivers license or passport photo. 

• Once the photo is uploaded, you should click on the "DASHBOARD" button on the top bar for that player.

• Once you click on the "Dashboard", you should scroll down and be able to see all of the required documents for the 25/26 year. Anything that shows up as "REQUIRED" will need to be filled out. You need to click the "DETAILS" button next to the item and complete the form.
  • We would suggest right clicking on details and opening the item in a new page or tab. If you just click on it normally, you will need to go back through steps 1-3 in order to get back to this screen for every document.

• Once all the forms are signed, you will need to upload a copy of the players birth certificate. If you are unable to find a copy of their birth certificate, some leagues will accept a passport or drivers license. This will be handled on a case by case basis, please get with us if there are any issues.
• On the same player dashboard, you will need to click on "AVAILABLE FORMS" on the left side. Then find the Birth Certificate upload that has the Warrior SC logo and says "Birth Certificate" next to it. 
• You will click "START" on this item and it will walk you through uploading the certificate or proof of birth there.

If you are new to the Warrior Soccer Club, but played for a different club or league that used GotSport, there is a chance your player already has a GotSport profile. In this case, we are able to "Request Approval" for your player to be moved to the Warrior Soccer Club in GotSport. You should receive an email to the assigned email address for that player where you can "Accept" the placement with the Warrior Soccer Club. 

Once accepted with the Warrior Soccer Club, you will be able to complete the necessary steps above to fulfill all the requirements for the year.
